Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a QA automation engineer to design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.

You will support automation frameworks, review tools and coverage, create test scenarios from requirements, coordinate test data, run automated and manual tests, log defects, and contribute to AI‑assisted testing tools as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or a relevant field.
• Experience in test automation development, maintenance, and execution using Java and Selenium.
• Knowledge of Playwright and TOSCA is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with multiple automation tools across systems.
• Understanding of software testing life cycle, regression testing, and defect management.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale or complex environments.
• Strong analytical skills to translate requirements into test scenarios.
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing
• Support automation frameworks, including regression execution and automation enablement
• Review existing automation tools, scripts, coverage, and execution effectiveness
• Analyse business and technical requirements to create test scenarios, scripts, and test data
• Identify and coordinate test data requirements with relevant stakeholders
• Execute automated and manual test scripts where required
• Log, track, retest, and validate defects through resolution
• Support testing for enterprise scale or complex systems
• Work in environments where automation tools vary by system or use case
• Contribute to enhancements or integration of productivity and AI assisted testing tools.
