Job summary

APBA TG Human Resource Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a QA Tester to join the testing team. You will perform functional, regression, integration, SIT/UAT, and end-to-end testing across projects, ensuring quality and readiness for releases.

You will prepare test plans, write cases and scripts, report defects, and support automation with Playwright, Postman, Swagger, and CI/CD environments. Collaboration with tech and business teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Knowledge and practical experience in manual testing, functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, SIT/UAT, and STLC.
• Ability to write clear and detailed test cases, test scenarios, test scripts, and test reports.
• Exposure to Playwright and test automation frameworks is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs, Postman, Swagger, and JSON request/response validation.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, TestRail, or Confluence.
• Ability to work effectively with technical teams, business users, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Experience with enterprise-scale, government, or mission-critical systems is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD testing environments is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, integration, SIT, and UAT testing.
• Prepare and maintain test plans, scenarios, cases, scripts and reports.
• Identify, document, track, retest, and follow up on defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Perform basic API testing using Postman and Swagger, validating RESTful APIs and JSON data.
• Support automated testing activities using Playwright and other frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, system engineers, business users, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Support deployment verification, production validation, implementation, and operational readiness activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement of testing processes, documentation, and QA practices.
