Job summary

REC is seeking an engineer to process field claims, perform failure analysis and support PV performance investigations in Singapore. The role involves site visits, data analysis, and collaboration with regional product managers to resolve customer issues promptly.

The candidate will build expertise in PVsyst, MATLAB and Python, develop standard simulations, and contribute to quality improvements across field operations. Entry-level applicants with a drive to learn are welcome.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Renewable Energy or related field; entry level welcomed.
• Experience with solar PV components, reliability, failure analysis or data analysis is advantageous.
• Strong problem solving, reporting and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Process field claims promptly and support effective resolution.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for field issues.
• Coordinate with regional Product Managers and cross-functional teams on failure analyses and site visits.
• Support PV system performance investigations using PVsyst and field data; develop PVsyst capabilities for standard simulations.
• Manage field claims from intake to closure with technical investigation and assessment.
• Provide engineering insights through technical reports and presentations.
