REC Group is seeking an Engineer to process field claims and drive resolution through rigorous failure analysis, product inspection and site visits. You will work with regional PMs and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve energy yield through data-driven investigations.

Responsibilities include technical reporting, documentation, and developing PVsyst models. Entry-level candidates with relevant internships or projects in solar PV are encouraged to apply.

Competenze

• Minimum bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Renewable Energy, Physics or related engineering/science discipline.
• Entry level and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant work experience are encouraged to apply.
• Academic projects, internships or work involving solar PV, product reliability, failure analysis, engineering testing, system simulation or data analysis are advantageous.

Mansioni

• Manage field claims from intake to closure through technical investigation and assessment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in failure analysis, containment and corrective actions.
• Provide timely engineering insights through technical reports and presentation.
• Handle customer visits, audits and site investigations when required.
• Develop and contribute to knowledge of product reliability and degradation.
• Design or support tests to detect infant-mortality and mid-life product failures.
• Evaluate field performance against expected energy yield where relevant to claim or technical investigation.
• Build and maintain documentation for standard PVsyst models, loss diagrams and basic sensitivity assessments to support customer-quality conclusions.
• Maintain traceable simulation inputs, assumptions, outputs and approved REC modelling templates.
