Job summary

CRIPTON ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING (S) PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a System Engineer to drive design and deployment of PV systems, creating layouts, sizing components, and ensuring electrical integrity across projects.

The role covers site assessment, project execution, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards, overseeing installation, testing, and maintenance to maximise energy yield. You will coordinate with contractors, manage grid-connection points, and ensure quality

Responsibilities

• Create System Layouts: Develop initial and finalized PV module layouts, structural equipment arrangements, and detailed single-line diagrams (SLD)
• Equipment Sizing & Selection: Perform technical analysis to select and size vital components, including Modules, inverters, DC/AC cabling, switchgears, and battery energy storage systems (BESS/ESS)
• Electrical Calculations: Conduct critical electrical load calculations, voltage drop assessments, short-circuit calculations, and array configurations
• Energy Yield Simulation: Run glare assessments and performance simulations to forecast system output.
• Site Inspections & Surveys: Evaluate site feasibility, examine existing structural/civil layouts, check grid tie-in access points, and identify problem areas
• Installation Supervision: Direct and monitor contractors and site technicians during construction to guarantee that deployment aligns with technical specifications and quality standards
• Testing & Commissioning: Oversee the testing and formal commissioning phases of the solar equipment to confirm optimal performance and safe operational status
• Regulatory Clearance: Ensure all system architectures comply with local building codes, grid integration criteria, and international standards
• Operation & Maintenance (O&M): Monitor long-term system data, troubleshoot electrical faults, and manage routine maintenance programs to maximize energy yield
• Workplace Safety: To work alongside workplace health and safety rules on-site
