Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking a Purchasing/Procurement professional to identify suppliers, negotiate terms, and manage end-to-end purchasing processes. The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Supply Chain Management or related field with 2–3 years of experience, strong negotiation skills, and English communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement or related field.
• 2–3 years purchasing/procurement experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing practices, supplier management and inventory control.
• Excellent negotiation skills with ability to establish mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
• Attention to detail with strong organisational skills to manage multiple suppliers and POs.
• Good communication in English with internal teams and suppliers.
• Analytical mindset to analyse data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
• Knowledge of quality standards and compliance requirements in manufacturing.
• Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management preferred.

• Monitor inventory levels and work with relevant departments to forecast purchasing requirements and prevent stockouts
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, documentation and databases for audit and compliance purposes
• Quality assurance of procured materials by inspecting goods upon arrival and addressing any discrepancies with suppliers
• Analyse supplier performance, manage relationships and implement corrective actions when necessary
• Collaborate with production, finance and operations teams to optimise purchasing strategies and reduce costs
• Stay informed of market trends, material availability and pricing fluctuations to make informed purchasing decisions
• Prepare purchasing reports and provide recommendations for process improvements

What we're looking for
