Job summary

Sealed Air Singapore is seeking a Purchasing Executive to manage sourcing, contracts, and vendor relationships while ensuring procurement policies and governance standards are followed. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive cost-effective and risk-managed procurement outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Business Admin/Purchasing Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience in purchasing activities.
• Experience in a manufacturing or service-based industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure purchasing activities comply with ISO system (ISO 9001/14001)
• Source, negotiate and review vendors for direct and indirect purchases
• Select and qualify new vendors
• Request quotations and issue drawings to suppliers
• Liaise with vendors on delivery schedules, samples and resolving challenges on goods and services
• Read and interpret technical and dimensional drawings
• Responsible for all items' quality issues and meeting customers' needs
• Prepare, monitor and document purchase orders
• Implement Cost Reduction Program (CRP) on a regular basis

Position Purpose

Sealed Air Singapore is looking for a Purchasing Executive!

In this role, you will manage sourcing, contracts, and vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance standards. You'll also work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive cost-effective and risk-managed procurement outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Raise and issuing Purchasing Order


• Ensure purchasing activities and procedures comply with the Company\'s ISO integrated system (ISO 9001/14001)


• Sourcing, negotiating and reviewing of suitable vendors for direct and indirect purchases


• Selecting and qualifying new vendors


• Request quotations and issuance of drawings to suppliers


• Liaise with vendors on delivery schedules, samples and resolving challenges on goods and services


• Able to read and interpret technical and dimensional drawings


• Responsible for all items\' quality issues and meeting customers\' needs


• Prepare, monitor and proper documentation of purchase orders


• Implement Cost Reduction Program (CRP) on a regular basic

Experience / Person Profile We\'re Looking For

• Minimum Diploma in Business Admin/Purchasing Management or equivalent.


• Minimum 3 years working experience in purchasing activities


• Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or service-based industry


• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders


• Excellent problem-solving, proactive and analytical skills
