Job summary

Staffhub Group in Singapore is seeking a procurement associate to source, negotiate and purchase accessories (tools and machinery) for construction projects. You will build strong relationships with local and overseas suppliers, manage orders from PR to delivery, and update the purchasing system.

You will collaborate with the Project Manager and site teams to ensure timely material orders, monitor inventory balance, and support monthly closing with accurate records.

Qualifications

• Sourcing and procurement experience preferred.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiations.
• Knowledge of inventory management and purchasing processes.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate and purchase accessories (tools & machinery) from identified sources, local and overseas.
• Create and maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Receive/Check Material Request List and issue Purchase Orders.
• Follow up on delivery and check Delivery Orders.
• Maintain inventory balance and items sent to sites.
• Liaise with Project Manager, Production & Site team for material orders and delivery.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.

To create and maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Received/ Check Material Request List if the material is necessary.

Issue Purchase order, Follow-up Delivery, Check Delivery Order.

Make summary of order for monthly closing and key in purchasing system.

To manage, update and keep track of inventory balance and tools & machinery sent to site use.

Liaise with Project Manager, Production & Site team for material order and delivery.

Any other ad-hoc work assign by superior/ management.

Requirement:

Candidate must possess at least GCE O Level.

Experience in procurement of accessories (eg: small construction tools & machinery) preferred but not a must.

Preferably those with knowing on purchasing practice and construction industry

Familiar with Microsoft Office and MYOB

Able to work independently and as a team
