Job summary

QI DIAN ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive procurement professional to maintain the database and summary of purchasing, including vendors, material price, and market fluctuations.

You will support operations by sourcing and procuring machinery, equipment, and materials, and you will manage suppliers to ensure on-schedule deliveries and prompt payment. This role requires 1–3 years of procurement experience, knowledge of contract terms, and strong English and Mandarin communication.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years procurement experience
• Knowledge in Contract T&Cs
• Good command of written & spoken English and Mandarin
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP system
• Immediate availability is preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain database and summary of purchasing including vendors, material prices, and market price fluctuations.
• Support operations by sourcing and procuring machinery/equipment/material and manage suppliers to ensure on-schedule deliveries and prompt payment.
• Purchase material for project sites based on product specifications and requirements.
• Conduct price negotiations with suppliers and perform price comparisons.
• Create purchase orders and generate monthly purchase reports.

Job description

To maintain the database and summary of purchasing including vendors, material price, market price fluctuation and movement, etc.

• To support and work with operation team to source and procure correct machinery/ equipment/ material and to manage the suppliers to ensure deliveries are on schedule and prompt payment to supplier.
• Other purchasing duties as assigned from time to time. Purchase material for project site based on the product specification and requirements.
• Conduct price negotiation with suppliers, vendors and price comparison.
• Create purchase order and generate monthly purchase reports.

Requirements

• Secondary / Diploma
• At least 1-3 years procurement experience
• An independent individual who works well under pressure
• Knowledge in Contract T&Cs
• Good command of written & spoken English and Mandarin
• Proficiency in computer skills, eg, MS Office, ERP system
• Immediate availability is preferred
• Singaporean & PR only
