Job summary

CloudMile in Singapore is seeking a driven Public Sector Account Executive to own and grow a portfolio of government agencies, statutory boards and Institutes of Higher Learning. You will land new accounts while expanding existing ones, selling data, AI, cloud migration and managed services across Google Cloud, AWS and partner technologies.

This consultative role emphasizes understanding customer problems and shaping the right solution with our engineers and pre-sales team, navigating GeBIZ

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years selling to the Singapore public sector.
• Track record in consultative, services or solution sales (IT services, consulting, systems integration or cloud).
• Hands-on experience with government procurement processes (e.g. GeBIZ tenders, quotations, bulk tenders).
• Proven ability to win new accounts, build pipeline on your own and grow existing accounts.

Responsibilities

• Win new public sector accounts and grow existing ones using a land-and-expand approach.
• Independently build your own pipeline through account planning, networking, outbound prospecting, and running programmes and events with partners.
• Lead consultative conversations with business and IT stakeholders to uncover needs and shape solutions with our pre-sales and delivery teams.
• Navigate government procurement: tenders, quotations, framework agreements and compliance requirements.
• Manage customer expectations on scope, timelines and outcomes, and negotiate commercial terms that work for both sides.
• Keep an accurate forecast and pipeline in the CRM, and hit quarterly and annual targets.
• Co-sell with partners including Google Cloud, AWS, Snowflake and OpenAI, and use their programmes and funding.
