Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a leader for Core Engineering of the Public Cloud to drive performance, reliability, and self-service platforms across our global infrastructure.

You will design enterprise-grade landing zones for AWS and Azure, including identity, networking, security, logging, and cost controls, and manage relationships with AWS and Azure. The role includes governance, risk, and enabling scalable, compliant cloud delivery across the bank.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with enterprise-scale multi-account AWS and multi-subscription Azure operating models.
• Strong understanding of AWS and Azure reference architectures and landing zones.
• Ability to define cloud engineering standards aligned to AWS Well-Architected Framework, CAF, and Azure Well-Architected Framework.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and continuously improve global public cloud platforms.
• Ensure day 2 operations with automated or self-service delivery.
• Optimize utilization of cloud resources globally.
