Job summary

Standard Chartered seeks a seasoned leader to shape and govern our global infrastructure delivery across cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem environments. You will drive IaC, CI/CD, and platform engineering while guiding security and supply chain governance across 70 datacentres and 15 cloud regions.

You will lead global engineering teams, set enterprise IaC standards, and create reusable infrastructure modules to accelerate secure deployments at scale.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cloud platforms across compute, storage, networking, database, analytics, security, identity, AI/ML, integration, and serverless services.
• Knowledge and experience of consuming and deploying on prem infrastructure capabilities.
• Expert in infrastructure as code and relevant platforms.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of data centre infrastructure and enterprise networking.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the global infrastructure pipeline strategy across public cloud, private cloud, hybrid infrastructure, and on-premise environments.
• Orchestrate and deliver infrastructure into the bank’s datacentres and cloud regions.
• Develop enterprise-wide standards for infrastructure delivery, automation, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Drive API standards across database, storage, compute, network for on-prem and cloud delivery.
• Establish reusable pipeline architectures and engineering patterns for scalability, resilience, and compliance.
• Lead adoption of IaC, GitOps, DevSecOps, and Platform Engineering across the organization.
• Define governance models and build reusable modules and infrastructure libraries.
