Job summary

Standard Chartered Singapore is seeking a senior leader to head Core Engineering for the Public Cloud. You will report to the Global Head of Cloud Infrastructure and own the cloud platform's day-2 operations, automation, cost optimisation, and scalability across AWS and Azure.

You will design enterprise-grade cloud landing zones, govern multi-account architectures, and drive platform engineering standards while building reusable services for global deployment.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with enterprise-scale multi-account AWS and multi-subscription Azure operating models.
• Strong understanding of AWS and Azure reference architectures, landing zones, control planes, management groups, and cloud-native design principles.
• Define cloud engineering standards aligned to AWS Well-Architected Framework, Microsoft CAF, and Azure Well-Architected Framework; enterprise principles and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the cloud core foundation across AWS & Azure.
• Build, operate and continuously improve global public cloud platforms that enable secure, standardized, and self-service consumption.
• Drive adoption of platform engineering practices to improve developer productivity and deployment velocity.
