Job summary

ST Engineering Cloud and Data Centre Solutions Pte Ltd is seeking a Technical Manager to lead the design, deployment, and management of cloud architectures across AWS and Azure. You will apply best practices in cloud engineering and security to align with enterprise technology strategies, while guiding Day 1 and Day 2 activities.

You will provide leadership in cloud infrastructure initiatives, drive automation via IaC and CI/CD, and oversee incident management, scalability, and cost optimization

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure deployment and operations.
• Proven experience delivering cloud solutions for enterprise and/or government sector clients.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices for enterprise-scale deployments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure for Day 1 and Day 2 activities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and implementation of cloud architectures and controls in alignment with security and compliance guidelines.
• Assist in testing and evaluating new cloud-native services and deployment models for scalability, resilience, and security.
• Recommend cloud products, services, and deployment procedures to enhance system design.
• Document design, operation, and outputs of AWS and Azure environments.
• Implement cloud solutions across Day 1 deployment and Day 2 operations.
• Resolve issues during cloud deployments, migrations, and integrations.
• Identify opportunities to scale and automate infrastructure through IaC, CI/CD, and monitoring.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, and security gaps.
• Oversee maintenance of cloud platforms and automation tools.
• Develop disaster recovery drills for critical workloads on AWS and Azure.
