Job summary

Standard Chartered Bank is seeking a Head of Infrastructure Delivery to lead a transformative global delivery capability. You will report to the Global Head of Cloud Infrastructure and shape the infrastructure delivery ecosystem, combining IaC, CI/CD, Platform Engineering, automation and security across cloud, hybrid and on‑prem environments.

You will drive enterprise standards, governance and risk management while leading global engineering teams to accelerate business and technology outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading global infrastructure delivery initiatives.
• Proven ability to design, engineer and operate infrastructure across cloud, hybrid and on‑prem environments.
• Strong governance, security and compliance awareness.
• Expertise in IaC, CI/CD, platform engineering and automation.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the global infrastructure pipeline strategy for cloud, private, hybrid, and on‑prem environments.
• Orchestrate delivery across 70 data centres and 15 cloud regions.
• Develop enterprise‑wide standards for infrastructure delivery, automation, deployment and lifecycle management.
• Drive API standards across database, storage, compute and network for on‑prem and cloud delivery.
• Establish reusable pipeline architectures and engineering patterns to support scalability, resilience and compliance.
• Promote Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, DevSecOps and Platform Engineering across the organisation.
