Job summary

GovTech Singapore seeks an Executive Engineer/Engineer (Modelling and Technology) in the Water Systems Department, Planning & Capability Development Division. You will lead engineering models to plan and guide design and construction of water resource systems and support R&D projects.

You will manage project cycles, including planning, tendering and supervision, ensure timely milestones, prepare reports, and collaborate with PUB and partners to deliver successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical thinking, planning and problem-solving.
• Good writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

[What the role is]As an Executive Engineer / Engineer, (Modelling and Technology) in the Water Systems Department, Planning & Capability Development Division, you will be part of a team to lead the development of engineering models to plan and guide the design and construction of systems to enhance integrated water resource management and undertake related R&D projects.[What you will be working on]Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following areas:Manage project cycle that will include project planning, contract administration (including tender calling and awarding) and supervision.Ensure timely delivery of key milestones, prepare reports and present recommendations to management.Collaborate with internal divisions within PUB, external government agencies, academia, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful execution of project.Support documentation, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives within the project frameworkAny other duties as assigned.[What we are looking for]Degree in Civil/ Environmental Engineering or related fieldsPossess strong analytical thinking, planning and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, GIS applications and/ or data visualisation toolsGood writing, communication, and interpersonal skillsAble to work independently and a good team playerSelf-motivated, adaptable and possess strong sense of responsibility
