[What the role is]As an Executive Engineer / Engineer (Geology) in the Water Systems Department, Planning & Capability Development Division, you will be part of a team to lead the development of engineering models to plan and guide the design and construction of systems to enhance integrated water resource management and undertake related R&D projects.[What you will be working on]Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following areas:Design and implement geological and geophysical investigationsPerform analysis and interpretation of geological and geophysical data, prepare reports and present recommendations to management.Manage storage of rock cores and for research studies.Maintain and upkeep geological datasets and model for data visualization and interpretation (Leapfrog or equivalent)Conduct training and knowledge sharing sessions.Any other duties as assigned.[What we are looking for]Degree in Geology, Civil / Environmental Engineering, or related fieldsPossess strong analytical thinking, planning and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, GIS applications and/ or data visualisation tools such as Leapfrog.Good writing, communication, and interpersonal skillsAble to work independently and a good team playerSelf-motivated, adaptable and possess strong sense of responsibility
