Job summary

PUB, The National Water Agency in Singapore seeks an Executive Engineer / Engineer (Geology) to lead geological and geophysical investigations, analyze data, and support integrated water resource management through robust data models and R&D projects.

You will manage rock core storage, maintain geological datasets, and contribute to knowledge sharing while working in a collaborative, result-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology, Civil / Environmental Engineering, or related fields
• Strong analytical thinking, planning and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, GIS applications and/ or data visualization tools such as Leapfrog
• Good writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and a good team player
• Self-motivated, adaptable and possess strong sense of responsibility

Responsibilities

• Design and implement geological and geophysical investigations

• Manage storage of rock cores and for research studies.
• Maintain and upkeep geological datasets and model for data visualization and interpretation (Leapfrog or equivalent)

What the role is:

As an Executive Engineer / Engineer (Geology) in the Water Systems Department, Planning & Capability Development Division, you will be part of a team to lead the development of engineering models to plan and guide the design and construction of systems to enhance integrated water resource management and undertake related R&D projects.

What you will be working on:

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following areas:

• Design and implement geological and geophysical investigations
• Perform analysis and interpretation of geological and geophysical data, prepare reports and present recommendations to management.
• Manage storage of rock cores and for research studies.
• Maintain and upkeep geological datasets and model for data visualization and interpretation (Leapfrog or equivalent)
