Job summary

PUB, The National Water Agency invites applications for an Assistant Engineer/Senior Assistant Engineer (Shift Operations) at the Changi Water Reclamation Plant. You will support the Shift Leader in monitoring plant processes, operating M&E and auxiliary equipment, and ensuring safe operations in a used water environment.

The role requires independent work ethic, good teamwork, and physical ability to perform site duties.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical preferred).
• Able to work independently and a good team player.
• Comfortable with working in used water environment and physically able to perform site works.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Shift Leader to monitor and control plant processes and operate M&E and auxiliary equipment safely.
• Respond to abnormalities and carry out SOP when required.
• Record process and equipment readings, perform site checks and troubleshoot minor equipment failures.
• Carry out site checks of equipment and plant operating conditions and take down relevant operating records.
• Carry out sampling and testing of specific process parameters to ensure quality output.
• Record events in the shift duty logbook and report equipment breakdowns in the fault notification file.
• Attend to alarms detected within the plant.

We are looking for motivated individuals to join us. Your main responsibilities are:

• Any other duties assigned.
