Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore is seeking a Procurement Officer to join a dynamic team responsible for day-to-day procurement operations. You will support end-to-end processes and provide guidance to stakeholders while helping automate and optimise workflows.

You will manage contract and vendor records in ACE, advise contract officers after tender awards, administer GeBIZ, and collaborate with Infocomm, Finance, users, and consultants to enhance the ACE module.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with or without working experience in Government Procurement; fresh graduates may be considered.
• Familiarity with SAP and GeBIZ is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated, organised, meticulous with strong interpersonal skills.
• Good team player with strong communication, writing and IT skills.

[What the role is]

You will be part of a dynamic Procurement team responsible for day-to-day procurement operations. You will support end-to-end procurement processes and provide operational guidance to stakeholders, while contributing to the automation and optimisation of work processes.

[What you will be working on]

• Managing daily operational procurement processes, including the creation, updating, and uploading of contract information and vendor records in ACE for all of the Board’s contracts.
• Providing advice to contract officers to facilitate the creation of contracts upon the award of a tender.
• Managing and reviewing procurement systems and processes, and recommending the adoption of best practices.
• Providing ACE System support and advice to officers regarding issues with access and contract matters.
• Working closely with various internal stakeholders, such as Infocomm, Finance, users, and consultants, to enhance and improve the ACE procurement module.
• Serving as Administrator of the Government Electronic Business (GeBIZ) portal for the Board.
• Attending to audit queries.
