Job summary

PUB, The National Water Agency is seeking a procurement professional to manage day-to-day procurement operations and support end-to-end processes. You will guide contract officers on tender awards and help optimise ACE procurement workflows.

You will also maintain supplier records, review systems, provide ACE assistance, and collaborate with Infocomm, Finance, users, and consultants. The role includes GeBIZ administration and responding to audit queries.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with or without working experience in Government Procurement.
• Fresh graduates may be considered.
• Familiarity with procurement systems such as SAP and GeBIZ would be an advantage.
• Able to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated, organised, meticulous, and possessing strong interpersonal skills.
• A good team player with strong communication, writing, and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing advice to contract officers to facilitate the creation of contracts upon the award of a tender.
• Managing and reviewing procurement systems and processes, and recommending the adoption of best practices.
• Providing ACE System support and advice to officers regarding issues with access and contract matters.
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to enhance and improve the ACE procurement module.
• Serving as Administrator of the GeBIZ portal for the Board.
• Attending to audit queries.

• Managing daily operational procurement processes, including the creation, updating, and uploading of contract information and vendor records in ACE for all of the Board's contracts.
• Providing advice to contract officers to facilitate the creation of contracts upon the award of a tender.
• Managing and reviewing procurement systems and processes, and recommending the adoption of best practices.
• Providing ACE System support and advice to officers regarding issues with access and contract matters.
• Working closely with various internal stakeholders, such as Infocomm, Finance, users, and consultants, to enhance and improve the ACE procurement module.
• Serving as Administrator of the Government Electronic Business (GeBIZ) portal for the Board.
• Attending to audit queries.
