Job summary

PUB, Singapore's National Water Agency, is seeking a procurement professional to support day-to-day procurement operations and end-to-end processes. You will guide contract creation post-tender awards and help automate and optimise workflows within the ACE system.

The role involves coordinating with Infocomm, Finance, users, and consultants to improve the ACE module, administering GeBIZ for the Board, and addressing audit queries. Two-year contract with potential renewal based on performance.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with or without working experience in Government Procurement; fresh graduates may be considered.
• Familiarity with procurement systems such as SAP and GeBIZ would be an advantage.
• Able to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated, organised, meticulous, and possessing strong interpersonal skills.
• A good team player with strong communication, writing, and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing daily operational procurement processes, including the creation, updating, and uploading of contract information and vendor records in ACE for all of the Board's contracts.
• Providing advice to contract officers to facilitate the creation of contracts upon the award of a tender.
• Managing and reviewing procurement systems and processes, and recommending the adoption of best practices.
• Providing ACE System support and advice to officers regarding issues with access and contract matters.
• Working closely with various internal stakeholders, such as Infocomm, Finance, users, and consultants, to enhance and improve the ACE procurement module.
• Serving as Administrator of the Government Electronic Business (GeBIZ) portal for the Board.
• Attending to audit queries.
