GovTech Singapore seeks a proactive procurement professional to join the dynamic Procurement team, supporting day-to-day operations and end-to-end processes.
You will manage daily procurement tasks in ACE, update contracts and vendor records, advise contract officers, and administer GeBIZ while collaborating with Infocomm, Finance, users, and consultants.
The role offers exposure to public sector procurement practices and opportunities to implement process improvements in a fast-paced environment.
You will be part of a dynamic Procurement team responsible for day-to-day procurement operations. You will support end-to-end procurement processes and provide operational guidance to stakeholders, while contributing to the automation and optimisation of work processes.
Managing daily operational procurement processes, including the creation, updating, and uploading of contract information and vendor records in ACE for all of the Board's contracts. Providing advice to contract officers to facilitate the creation of contracts upon the award of a tender. Managing and reviewing procurement systems and processes, and recommending the adoption of best practices. Providing ACE System support and advice to officers regarding issues with access and contract matters. Working closely with various internal stakeholders, such as Infocomm, Finance, users, and consultants, to enhance and improve the ACE procurement module. Serving as Administrator of the Government Electronic Business (GeBIZ) portal for the Board. Attending to audit queries.
Degree holder with or without working experience in Government Procurement. Fresh graduates may be considered. Familiarity with procurement systems such as SAP and GeBIZ would be an advantage. Able to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Motivated, organised, meticulous, and possessing strong interpersonal skills. A good team player with strong communication, writing, and IT skills. Successful candidates will be appointed on a 2-year contract. Contract renewal, extension or emplacement is subject to officer performance, availability of posts and organisational priorities.
