Job summary

YIJIA ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Procurement & QS Executive to manage local material procurement for cleanroom, semiconductor and M&E construction projects in Singapore.

The role covers supplier sourcing, quotation comparison, purchase follow-up and partial QS/commercial support duties, plus participation in BOQ preparation and cost tracking for project cost control.

Qualifications

• Experience in M&E, construction, cleanroom, semiconductor or industrial projects.
• Able to understand drawings, material lists, BOQ, and project documents.
• Proficient in English and Chinese for coordination.

Responsibilities

• Source local suppliers in Singapore and obtain quotations for project materials and services.
• Prepare quotation comparison tables, purchase requisition support documents, PO-related documents and procurement records.
• Follow up on material delivery schedules, urgent site material requirements and supplier coordination.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, site supervisors and the China team on material specifications, quantities and delivery requirements.
• Assist with quantity checking, BOQ preparation and project cost tracking.
• Assist in collecting and preparing supporting documents for Variation Orders / VO claims.
• Assist in preliminary checking of subcontractor claims, supplier quotations and project cost records.
• Maintain supplier records, quotation records, procurement documents and commercial project files.
• Support the project team in other procurement, cost control and commercial coordination matters.

YIJIA ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is looking for a Project Procurement & QS Executive to support our cleanroom, semiconductor and M&E construction projects in Singapore.

The role will be responsible for local material procurement, supplier sourcing, quotation comparison, purchase follow-up, and partial QS / commercial support duties. The candidate will also assist the project team with quantity checking, BOQ preparation, cost records, variation order supporting documents, and preliminary checking of subcontractor claims.

We are looking for a candidate with relevant experience in M&E, construction, cleanroom, industrial plant or semiconductor projects, and who is able to understand common project materials and site requirements, such as piping, ducting, valves, fittings, supports, insulation materials, steel supports and other construction-related materials.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in M&E, construction, cleanroom, semiconductor factory or industrial project procurement / QS / commercial support is preferred.
• Familiar with common construction and M&E materials, such as piping, ducting, valves, fittings, supports, insulation materials and steel support items.
• Able to understand basic drawings, material lists, BOQ or project-related documents.
• Experience in supplier sourcing, quotation comparison, procurement follow-up and document control.
• Basic experience in quantity checking, cost tracking or QS support will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to prepare comparison tables, cost records and procurement tracking sheets.
• Responsible, detail-oriented and proactive in following up on tasks.
• Good communication and coordination skills with suppliers, project teams, site personnel and management.
• Able to communicate in both English and Chinese, as this role requires daily coordination with local suppliers, main contractors, project teams, the China team and company management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in M&E / piping / ducting / cleanroom / semiconductor projects.
• Experience with local supplier sourcing and procurement in Singapore.
• Previous experience as QS Executive, Commercial Executive, Procurement Executive or Project Coordinator.
• Familiar with Purchase Request, Puchase Order, quotation comparison, BOQ, progress claim and VO supporting documents.
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced project environment and support urgent procurement requirements when necessary.
