Job summary

GOOD JOB CREATIONS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Lead IT Project Manager to drive large-scale system implementations within the banking sector. You will coordinate stakeholders, oversee PMO activities, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

The role requires strong PM knowledge, excellent communication, and experience coordinating cross-functional teams with business users and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related fields.
• PMO/PM experience in banking or financial services is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking/financial services.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing system implementation projects in PM/PMO roles.
• Strong knowledge of PM methodologies, governance, and lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Job description

Lead IT project management and stakeholder coordination for large-scale system implementation within a financial service environment

Responsibilities:

• Support and manage end-to-end operational workflow improvement projects within the banking sector.
• Act as the user-side PM/PMO to oversee project progress, task tracking, change requests, issue management, and project governance activities.
• Liaise with business users, project teams, and external vendors to gather information, clarify requirements, analyse business and regulatory needs, and coordinate project deliverables.
• Monitor project milestones and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of tasks and effective issue resolution.
• Prepare project reports, status updates, meeting minutes, and management presentations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address project risks, outstanding issues, and dependencies to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related fields.
• Certification related to Project Management (i.e. PMP) is an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, financial services, or a related industry.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing or supporting system implementation projects in a PM or PMO capacity, preferably within banking or financial services environments.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, project governance, and project lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage business users, IT teams, vendors, and other project stakeholders effectively.
