Job summary

Kowa Skymech Pte. Ltd. is seeking a proactive Project Leader to oversee end-to-end project management in factory automation and machinery integration. You will translate customer requirements into proposals, coordinate with the management team, and lead a multidisciplinary project team through conception, FAT, and delivery.

The role emphasizes market outreach, vendor liaison, and ensuring projects align with customer expectations and schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience as project leader in factory automation, equipment/machine making, system integration projects.
• Class 3 driving licence preferable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee project management to meet customer requirements and satisfaction.
• Assist Management to pursue new market leads and market penetration for new product/industry.
• Interpret customer requirements and URS; translate into proposals and machine concepts for new builds and turn-key projects.
• Coordinate with customers on project proposals, reviews, and development activities.
• Identify customer preferences for potential machine standardization.

About the role

To lead, oversee and monitor all activities in project management to meet customers' requirements and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Management Team to follow-up on new market lead & potentials and market penetration for new product/industry

• Interpret the customer's requirements, URS and translate them into proposal and conceptualization for new machine/equipment as well as build-from-print projects

• Liaise and follow-up with the customer on project proposal and review, subsequent project activities and development

• Identify and recognize the practices, preference & work methods of specific customers for potential machine standardization

• Spearhead project costing, cost estimation, resource allocation, budget and review the details with the Director for approval

• Lead and manage the in-house project team comprising of project leader, design engineers, software engineers, technicians and external assembly teams to ensure smooth workflow from conceptualization through to factory acceptance test (FAT) and delivery

• Review and coordinate with the in-house SCM team on inventory control for parts and shipment & delivery requirements

• Mentor and provide guidance to project team members, and review and follow-up on their performance

• Liaise with respective vendors on matters related to the project

• Assist in identifying and short-listing suitable manufacturing process (vendors) of fabrication parts

About you

• Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience as project leader in factory automation, equipment/machine making, system integration projects

• Class 3 driving licence preferable
