Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd seeks a Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead end-to-end electrical construction projects at Changi Airport. The role requires oversight of planning, budgeting, scheduling, safety, and technical coordination across on-site teams and contractors.

You will drive project execution from initiation through handover, ensuring compliance with local codes and industry standards while maintaining strong client communication and risk management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Electrical Systems including project management and engineering roles.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in electrical systems design, installation, testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete lifecycle of electrical construction and installation projects, managing budgets, timelines, safety compliance, and technical coordination.
• Define project scopes, set deliverable goals, and build detailed timelines using Primavera/Revit or project management software.
• Prepare initial estimates, track expenditures, manage variation orders, and control financial performance to prevent overruns.
• Oversee daily on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, and monitor progress.
• Ensure all electrical systems comply with local codes, regulations and industry standards.
• Lead testing, commissioning and handover of electrical installations, including as-built drawings and operation manuals.
• Enforce on-site safety protocols, conduct risk assessments and establish contingency plans.
• Act as primary link between clients, main contractors, consultants and regulatory authorities.

• Up till $8,000 - $10,000 basic + + $80 mobile allowance + $550 transport allowance (Own vehicle or using company vehicle) + Variable bonus + Annual Bonus (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)

• Location: Changi Airport

• Working Days/Timings: 5 days work week (Although is 5 days work week, but as nature of the responsibility, 24/7 (On stand by mode) is required)

Responsibilities:

• Strategic & Executive Leadership: Oversees the complete lifecycle of electrical construction and installation projects, managing budgets, timelines, safety compliance, and technical coordination.

• Project Planning & Scheduling: Define project scopes, set deliverable goals, and build detailed timelines using tools like Primavera/Revit or project management software.

• Cost & Budget Management: Prepare initial estimates, track project expenditures, manage variation orders (VO), and control financial performance to prevent overruns.

• Site Supervision & Operations: Oversee daily on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, and monitor planned versus actual progress.

• Technical Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all electrical systems (such as LV/HV switchgear, power distribution, and ELV systems) adhere to local building codes, statutory regulations, and industry standards.

• Testing & Commissioning: Lead the testing, commissioning, and final handover of electrical installations, including as-built drawings and operation manual.

• Risk & Safety Management: Enforce strict on-site safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and establish contingency plans for site bottlenecks.

• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary link between clients, main contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience working in Electrical System (LV/HV, power distribution, lighting, ELV, and related system) including project management and engineering roles.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Proficiency in electrical systems design, installation, testing and Commissiong.
