Job summary

SINGCON (M & E) SERVICES PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced electrical project professional to plan, coordinate, and oversee on-site activities. The role focuses on delivering projects within time and budget while ensuring safety and quality across ELV and intelligent building systems.

You will coordinate with subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with Singapore agencies' specifications. Strong communication and planning skills are essential for successful project handovers.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in electrical engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in A&A projects and/or design-and-build across various project types.
• Competent across electrical systems including ELV, project lighting, and intelligent building systems.

• Verify correct materials are used and meet specifications.
• Identify changes in project scope and act to address them.
• Administer submittal reviews between subcontractors, suppliers and design team.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organise and set up site and sequential job planning for the smooth execution of projects to achieve cost, quality, timelines and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Manage construction activities and progress independently.
• Carry out resource planning for project such as site staff and workers, subcontractors and to ensure their effective deployment.
• Attend project meeting, project team meeting and updates on progress.
• Control materials, tools and equipment ordered and delivered.
• Manage all site staff and subcontractor schedule.
• Ensure adequate quality control measures either via on-site/off-site inspection and all completion/pre-handover inspections.
• Check the approved /correct materials are used within specifications/certifications submitted, recorded and approved by vetting Singapore Agencies.
• Proactively identifies changes in project scope and ensures appropriate measures are taken
• Administers Submittal Review process between Subcontractors/Suppliers and design team.

Requirements

• Able to understand electrical drawing, specifications and requirements skills and experience required.
• Degree in Electrical engineering or diploma holder with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Worked in on A & A projects and/or Design and Build in various type of projects with different nature.
• Technically competent across the full range of electrical systems, ELV System, Project Lighting, Building Intelligent System and relevant skill set and competencies.
• Proven track records of successful project completion on time and on budget.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all level of staff.
• Possess the relevant safety certifications like SCWSH / BCSS.
• Ability to coordinate and communicate with relevant site people to execute work Excellent time management and teamwork skills.
