CAREER STORY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Manager (Electrical) to lead end-to-end electrical construction projects at Changi Airport 5.

The role requires coordinating with clients, main contractors, consultants and regulators, while ensuring safety, schedules and budgets are met. The successful candidate will oversee planning, testing and commissioning of LV/HV systems, power distribution and ELV, and will manage risks and stakeholders across on-site operations with a 5-day work week and

Formación

• Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 10+ years of experience in electrical systems and project management.
• Proficiency in electrical design, installation, testing and commissioning.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee full lifecycle of electrical construction and installation projects, managing budgets, timelines, safety compliance, and technical coordination.
• Define project scopes, set deliverable goals, and build detailed timelines using Primavera/Revit or project management software.
• Prepare initial estimates, track expenditures, manage variation orders, and control financial performance to prevent overruns.
• Oversee daily on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, and monitor progress against plan.
• Lead testing, commissioning and final handover of electrical installations, including as-built drawings and operation manuals.
• Enforce on-site safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and establish contingency plans.

Job Scope

• Strategic & Executive Leadership: Oversees the complete lifecycle of electrical construction and installation projects, managing budgets, timelines, safety compliance, and technical coordination.
• Project Planning & Scheduling: Define project scopes, set deliverable goals, and build detailed timelines using tools like Primavera/Revit or project management software.
• Cost & Budget Management: Prepare initial estimates, track project expenditures, manage variation orders (VO), and control financial performance to prevent overruns.
• Site Supervision & Operations: Oversee daily on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, and monitor planned versus actual progress.
• Technical Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all electrical systems (such as LV/HV switchgear, power distribution, and ELV systems) adhere to local building codes, statutory regulations, and industry standards.
• Testing & Commissioning: Lead the testing, commissioning, and final handover of electrical installations, including as-built drawings and operation manual.
• Risk & Safety Management: Enforce strict on-site safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and establish contingency plans for site bottlenecks.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary link between clients, main contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Educational Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience working in Electrical System (LV/HV, power distribution, lighting, ELV, and related system) including project management and engineering roles.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Proficiency in electrical systems design, installation, testing and Commissioning.
