Job summary

SINGCON (M&E) Services Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Electrical Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, and oversee M&E installations on site. You will drive timely project execution, ensure adherence to electrical specs, and manage subcontractors and resources.

The role requires hands-on experience with A&A or Design and Build projects, strong leadership, and a focus on safety and quality. Singapore-based, on-site work with direct client interaction.

Qualifications

• Requires understanding of electrical drawings, specs and requirements.
• Degree in Electrical engineering or diploma holder with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience on A&A projects or Design and Build in various project types.
• Technically competent across electrical systems, ELV, project lighting and related skills.
• Proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with all staff levels.
• Possess safety certifications like SCWSH / BCSS.
• Ability to coordinate with site personnel to execute work and manage time.

• Check materials meet specifications and approvals by Singapore agencies.
• Identify changes in project scope and take appropriate measures.
• Administer Submittal Review between subcontractors/suppliers and design team.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organise and set up site and sequential job planning for the smooth execution of projects to achieve cost, quality, timelines and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Manage construction activities and progress independently.
• Carry out resource planning for project such as site staff and workers, subcontractors and to ensure their effective deployment.
• Attend project meeting, project team meeting and updates on progress.
• Control materials, tools and equipment ordered and delivered.
• Manage all site staff and subcontractor schedule.
• Ensure adequate quality control measures either via on-site/off-site inspection and all completion/pre-handover inspections.
• Check the approved /correct materials are used within specifications/certifications submitted, recorded and approved by vetting Singapore Agencies.
• Proactively identifies changes in project scope and ensures appropriate measures are taken
• Administers Submittal Review process between Subcontractors/Suppliers and design team.

Requirements

• Able to understand electrical drawing, specifications and requirements skills and experience required.
• Degree in Electrical engineering or diploma holder with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Worked in on A & A projects and/or Design and Build in various type of projects with different nature.
• Technically competent across the full range of electrical systems, ELV System, Project Lighting, Building Intelligent System and relevant skill set and competencies.
• Proven track records of successful project completion on time and on budget.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all level of staff.
• Possess the relevant safety certifications like SCWSH / BCSS.
• Ability to coordinate and communicate with relevant site people to execute work Excellent time management and teamwork skills.
