Job summary

NOVEXX PTE. LTD. seeks a Project Manager (Electrical) for the Project Team Station at Changi Airport.

You will oversee the complete lifecycle of electrical construction and installation projects, manage budgets, timelines, safety compliance, and technical coordination. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, a minimum of 5 years of electrical system experience (LV/HV, ELV, power distribution, lighting), and proven expertise in design, testing, and commissioning to deliver

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical systems and project management.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in electrical design, installation, testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lifecycle of electrical construction and installation projects, including budgets and safety.
• Define scopes, set goals, and create detailed project timelines.
• Prepare initial estimates and manage VO to control costs.
• Supervise on-site activities and coordinate contractors.
• Ensure LV/HV switchgear, power distribution, ELV systems meet codes.
• Lead testing, commissioning, and handover with as-built drawings.
• Enforce on-site safety protocols and risk management.
• Serve as liaison between clients, main contractors, consultants, and authorities.

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Scope

• Strategic & Executive Leadership: Oversees the complete lifecycle of electrical construction and installation projects, managing budgets, timelines, safety compliance, and technical coordination.
• Project Planning & Scheduling: Define project scopes, set deliverable goals, and build detailed timelines using tools like Primavera/Revit or project management software.
• Cost & Budget Management: Prepare initial estimates, track project expenditures, manage variation orders (VO), and control financial performance to prevent overruns.
• Site Supervision & Operations: Oversee daily on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, and monitor planned versus actual progress.
• Technical Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all electrical systems (such as LV/HV switchgear, power distribution, and ELV systems) adhere to local building codes, statutory regulations, and industry standards.
• Testing & Commissioning: Lead the testing, commissioning, and final handover of electrical installations, including as-built drawings and operation manual.
• Risk & Safety Management: Enforce strict on-site safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and establish contingency plans for site bottlenecks.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary link between clients, main contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Educational Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in Electrical System (LV/HV, power distribution, lighting, ELV, and related system) including project management and engineering roles.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Proficiency in electrical systems design, installation, testing and Commissioning.
