Job summary

Exponent Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based specialist in construction and interior fit-outs, seeks a Project Manager to lead projects from design concept through construction to handover. • Diploma or degree in a relevant field (civil/architecture/PM).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing corporate office design and build projects.
• Ability to interpret architectural plans and apply building/safety regulations.
• Proven track record leading multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Excellent English communication; Mandarin ability helpful for coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate layout plans, design visuals, 3D drawings and product specs to meet requirements.
• Develop detailed project schedules and prepare quotations and tender submissions.
• Draft, negotiate and manage contracts with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Submit plans to local authorities and coordinate building inspections for compliance.
• Organize subcontractors to survey and execute all stages of work per scope and quality.
• Supervise construction teams to deliver quality workmanship across site works.
• Lead site meetings to clarify scope with stakeholders.
• Prepare work schedules, monitor progress and maintain project documentation.
• Assist in preparing tender documentation to support bidding processes.
• Prepare and monitor project costing reports for management approval and budget control.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery and high-quality workmanship.
• Serve as primary liaison between the company and clients to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate layout plans, design visuals, 3D drawings, and product specifications to meet project requirements and client expectations
• Develop detailed project schedules and prepare accurate quotations and tender submissions for client approval
• Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts, including revisions and amendments with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure clear agreements
• Arrange submission of plans to local authorities and coordinate building inspections to maintain regulatory compliance
• Organize subcontractors to survey and execute all stages of work, ensuring adherence to project scope and quality standards
• Supervise and manage construction teams to deliver good workmanship for all site works
• Lead site meetings to establish and clarify scope of works with stakeholders
• Prepare work schedules, supervise project progress, and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Assist in preparing tender documentation, including project schedules, to support bidding processes
• Prepare and monitor project costing reports for management approval and control budgets to optimize financial performance
• Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and uphold high-quality workmanship standards

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing corporate office design and new build projects
• Ability to interpret architectural plans and apply building and safety regulations effectively
• Proven experience leading and managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Proficient in spoken and written English to manage communications with English and Mandarin-speaking associates for effective project coordination

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• PMP Certification is an advantage
