Job summary

Exponent Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based construction and interior fit-out specialist, seeks a senior architectural professional to coordinate design detailing and construction activities for commercial interior fit-out projects.

You will review shop drawings, resolve coordination issues using BIM tools, liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, and ensure compliance with specifications and authority requirements while maintaining quality and schedule.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Engineering or Architectural Discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural finishing work.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Proactive problem-solving skills.
• Availability for alternate Saturday work per month.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate design detailing between clients and consultants to align project requirements and deliverables
• Review, update, and coordinate architectural work including shop drawings to maintain accuracy and compliance
• Resolve site architectural issues such as drawing discrepancies and method statements using BIM software to ensure quality and productivity
• Liaise with sub-contractors and vendors to prevent conflicts, disputes, and abortive work on projects
• Ensure architectural works comply with specifications and authority requirements to maintain quality standards
• Schedule architectural works, manage material requisition, control costs, supervise projects, and maintain documentation per the Master Programme
• Prepare construction method statements and technical proposals to facilitate smooth work transitions
• Inspect ongoing work, identify issues, and monitor rectifications to uphold quality standards
• Coordinate submission and status updates of shop drawings, samples, mock-ups, and materials while supervising work progress
• Conduct routine inspections of installed works and maintain close communication with clients, consultants, and sub-contractors
• Compile and hand over architectural documentation, including as-built drawing submissions
