Job summary

SINGAPORE BUILDER'S M&E - LANDSCAPE & METAL ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from planning through completion in Singapore.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers, manage schedules, budgets and manpower, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while delivering quality sites on time.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction/project management.
• Experience managing construction projects from planning to completion.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, site coordination and drawings.
• Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of safety regulations in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reports, progress claims and other docs.
• Lead project teams and site staff.

• Plan, manage and oversee construction projects from commencement to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare project schedules, work programmes, budgets and manpower requirements.
• Monitor project progress, quality, costs and timelines to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Supervise site activities and ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, safety requirements and regulations.
• Review and coordinate technical drawings, method statements and project documentation.
• Manage procurement of materials, equipment and subcontractor works.
• Identify and resolve project issues, delays and site-related problems.
• Conduct site meetings and provide regular progress updates to management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Prepare project reports, progress claims and other relevant documentation.
• Lead and supervise project teams, site staff and subcontractors.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction/project management.
• Experience in managing construction projects from planning through completion.
• Good knowledge of construction processes, project scheduling and site coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Good knowledge of workplace safety and construction regulations in Singapore.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD/Project Management software is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines.
• Relevant Singapore construction experience will be an advantage.
