Job summary

HP Construction & Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced construction professional to oversee day-to-day activities on a Singapore project. The role focuses on planning, scheduling, safety compliance and coordination with authorities, consultants and subcontractors to ensure timely, cost-efficient delivery.

The ideal candidate will lead a site team, monitor performance, approve materials, and implement robust progress control systems to meet project requirements and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day-to-day construction activities of the project.
• Develop and formulate cost-effective plan for timely completion within budget and implement execution plan.
• Monitor construction productivity, schedule, performance; investigate unsatisfactory performance and provide recommendations.
• Manage subcontractors’ works to ensure contract compliance and quality of work; monitor project delivery quality.
• Liaise with authorities, consultants and subcontractors on project matters.
• Ensure workplace safety standards are complied at sites and throughout the project.
• Responsible for site progress according to the schedule set.
• Lead a site construction team to ensure smooth execution of work.
• Ensure works meet company quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Review and approve materials requisitions.
• Execute overall scheduling and specific planning work.
• Design, implement progress and schedule control systems for the project.
• Coordinate construction planning with client, sub-contractors, consultants and authorities on all project aspects.
• Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures at site.
