Job summary

LE-RENZO PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction efforts on-site in Singapore. The role focuses on planning, coordinating, and supervising all activities, ensuring milestones are met and standards are satisfied.

You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, monitor budgets, enforce safety, coordinate with authorities and clients, and ensure accurate documentation for claims and approvals. The project environment demands strong leadership and communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Experience in Singapore construction environment preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise all construction activities on-site.
• Develop project schedules and ensure timely milestone completion.
• Monitor progress and resolve delays or site issues.
• Oversee daily site operations and manage site staff, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure drawings and specs are followed.
• Monitor costs and keep work within budget; review material requisitions and site expenses.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and perform toolbox talks.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, architects and engineers; report updates to management.
• Maintain site records, progress and inspection reports for claims and approvals.

Site Supervision

• Oversee daily site operations and ensure smooth workflow
• Manage site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications

Cost & Budget Control

• Monitor project costs and ensure work stays within budget
• Review and approve material requisitions and site expenses
• Work with QS (Quantity Surveyor) on cost tracking and variations

Quality Control

• Ensure construction works meet company and regulatory standards
• Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures
• Rectify defects and ensure proper handover standards

Safety Management

• Enforce workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations
• Conduct safety briefings and toolbox meetings
• Ensure compliance with MOM and BCA safety requirements

Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, and engineers
• Coordinate with authorities for permits and inspections
• Report project updates to senior management regularly

Documentation

• Maintain site records, progress reports, and inspection reports
• Ensure proper documentation for claims, variations, and approvals

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Prefer 5–10 years of experience in construction industry
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction methods
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and large teams
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Singapore construction environment is preferred
