Job summary

Tong Yi Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking a capable Site Construction Manager to oversee daily operations on our Singapore project sites.

You will supervise site personnel, subcontractors and consultants, ensuring work is performed to specifications, on schedule and within budget. You will coordinate closely with clients and authorities, monitor progress and quality, and drive safe practices and efficiency across activities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead site teams and coordinate multiple subcontractors.
• Strong communication skills with clients, consultants and internal teams.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs and method statements.
• Familiarity with Singapore safety regulations and quality standards on construction sites.
• Capable of managing deadlines, budgets and resource allocation.

• Supervise site supervisors, engineers, subcontractors, and workers to ensure work is carried out according to project specifications and drawings.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors on construction activities and project requirements.
• Monitor project progress, manpower deployment, material usage, and work schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure all construction works comply with Singapore building regulations, workplace safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, identify issues, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Manage site documentation, progress reports, method statements, risk assessments, and other project-related records.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with applicable requirements.
• Identify and resolve site issues, delays, and technical problems efficiently.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, workplace safety, and environmental practices are maintained throughout the construction site.

Requirements:
