Job summary

Paint Plus Contract Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects from initiation to completion. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure objectives, schedules, and quality standards are met.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering, and a minimum of 7 years in construction project management, with proven leadership and cost-control skills to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of practical experience in project management services in construction.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans and oversee all procedures from initiation to completion.
• Involvement in proposal and tendering phases, provide insights, procure, and oversee on-site construction.
• Direct construction planning and collaborate with clients, consultants and subcontractors to meet objectives and schedules.
• Monitor and control project costs to keep within budget.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure all submissions and documentation are in place.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and complies with local regulations and ISO standards.
• Lead a team to identify and mitigate risks and resolve construction issues.
• Support Senior Project Manager and Project Director on PM activities.
• Overall management of contractual, budgetary, resources, design, procurement, construction, quality and safety aspects.
• Coordinate and monitor progress on sites and liaise with clients and stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities

• 1.Develop project plans and oversee all operational and administrative procedures from project initiation to completion
• 2.Involvement in proposal and tendering phase to provide insights Execute tender procurement and On-site construction supervision
• 3.Provide the direction in construction planning and Collaborate with Client, Consultant Teams and Sub-contractors to ensure that project objectives are met, and overall construction progress are within time schedules
• 4.Monitor and control project costs and expenses to ensure that project stays within budget
• 5.Stay updated on regulatory requirements, and ensure all necessary submissions, clearances and documentation are in place
• 6.Ensure that work meets the quality standards and specifications set forth in the project plans and contract documents, and comply with local building regulations and company ISO standards.
• 7.Lead a team of project team members to identify and mitigate project risks, and solve construction issues throughout the project lifecycle
• 8.Support the Senior Project Manager and Project Director in any other Project Management related activities
• 9.Overall management for the project with respect to contractual, budget, resources, design, procurement, construction, quality, and safety
• 10.Coordination and monitoring of progress on sites
• 11.Liaise closely with clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors through regular meetings to resolve administrative, design, and contractual issues and updating of project progress reports
• 12.Manage Sub-contractors' submission of method of statements, drawing, materials, mock-up and work progress follow accordingly to company direction

Requirements

• 1.Candidate must have Bachelor's degree in construction management or Civil Engineering.
• 2.At least 7 years of practical experience in Project Management Services in Construction industry
