Job summary

MIE-TECH SCAFFOLDING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee project specifications, startup planning, and execution with a focus on time, cost, quality and resources.

You will lead a team, coordinate vendors and subcontractors, and ensure safety compliance while driving bids for new projects. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Building/Civil or related fields and proven PM experience, with strong organizational and leadership skills to manage multifaceted construction

Qualifications

• Degree in Building/Civil or Electrical Engineering/ Construction Management or related / Any degree.
• Proven experience as construction project manager.
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials and project management principles.
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• A team player with leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, architects and the team to determine project specifications.
• Prepare project start-up and execution plan, and define targets for time, cost, quality, and resources.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors for profitable agreements.
• Lead a team in planning and execution of day-to-day operations to meet targets.
• Manage subcontractors to deliver targets in time, cost, quality, and safety.
• Hire contractors and staff and allocate responsibilities.
• Supervise laborers and provide guidance on project base.
• Assist the Project Director in tendering proposals for new projects.
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and report issues.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with engineers, architects and the with the team to determine the specifications of the project.
• Responsible for preparing project start-up and execution plan, as well as to define key project targets in terms of time, cost, quality, and resources.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
• Lead a team of technical staff in planning and execution of day-to-day operations to achieve all key project targets.
• Liaise with and manage Subcontractors to deliver their respective performance targets in terms of time, cost,quality, and safety.
• Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities.
• Supervise the work of laborers, and give them guidance when needed on Project base.
• Assist the Project Director in tendering proposals to secure new projects.
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
