Job summary

MIE-TECH SCAFFOLDING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager in Singapore to oversee project starting and execution, define targets, and coordinate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.

You will lead technical staff to meet time, cost, and quality goals while ensuring safety compliance. You will evaluate progress, prepare detailed reports, and assist in tendering new proposals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building/ Civil or Electrical Engineering/ Construction Management or related.
• Proven experience as construction project manager.
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• A team player with leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, architects and the team to determine the specifications of the project.
• Prepare project start-up and execution plan, and define key project targets in terms of time, cost, quality, and resources.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
• Lead a team of technical staff in planning and execution of day-to-day operations to achieve all key project targets.
• Liaise with and manage Subcontractors to deliver their respective targets in terms of time, cost, quality, and safety.
• Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities.
• Supervise the work of laborers, and give them guidance when needed on Project base.
• Assist the Project Director in tendering proposals to secure new projects.

• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
