Job summary

CAREER TREND PTE. LTD. seeks a seasoned Project Manager to oversee end-to-end delivery from feasibility to handover, ensuring timelines, budgets, safety and quality.

You will lead internal teams and consultants across design, procurement and construction, while ensuring regulatory submissions and approvals are met. Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering/Architecture, Project Management or related field.
  • About 7 years of relevant experience in development, from design to site execution.
  • Strong communication skills, able to operate independently and adapt to change.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project.
  • Understanding of construction regulations, contracts, and governance.
  • Strong planning, organization and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams and coordinate consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, safety and quality.
  • Lead and coordinate teams and consultants across feasibility, design, procurement, construction and handover.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance by managing submissions and aligning with approvals.
  • Drive design development from feasibility to execution, optimizing net lettable areas.
  • Collaborate with HQ and business units to define scopes, assess risks and mitigate issues.
  • Develop procurement strategies, shortlist consultants/vendors, and oversee negotiations.
  • Monitor construction progress by forecasting, tracking, and reviewing site activities and costs.
  • Manage financial performance through expenses and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Support sustainability, buildability, compliance and governance during execution.
  • Provide leadership in strategic planning and stakeholder engagement with integrity.

Job description

Job Scope:
  • Overseeend-to-end project delivery ensuring timelines, budgets, safety, and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Lead andcoordinate internal teams and consultants across feasibility, design,procurement, construction, handover stages and defects management.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance by managing authority submissions, navigating local requirements, and aligning with design organisation approval and procurement processes.
  • Drive design development from feasibility studies through execution, ensuring efficiency in net lettable/saleable areas and alignment with projects’ strategy.
  • Collaboratewith stakeholders including HQ, and business units to define scopes, assessrisks, and implement mitigation measures.
  • Develop procurement strategies to secure competitive costs, manage consultant / contractor / vendor shortlisting, and oversee contract negotiationsand variation orders.
  • Monitor construction progress by forecasting, tracking, and reviewing site activities,costs, safety, and quality to achieve projects’ targets.
  • Manage financial performance through expense tracking, cost-saving initiatives, and maintaining budgets while ensuring projects’ profitability.
  • Support projects’initiatives in sustainability, buildability, compliance, and governance, during project execution.
  • Provide strong leadership in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and team management, maintaining integrity and zero tolerance for malpractice.
Requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Project Management software such as MS Project
  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering/ Architecture, Project Management or related field.
  • About 7 years of relevant experience in development, from design, project management, project administration to site execution of projects.
  • Possess strong communication skills, able to operate independently, has cultural sensitivity,and high adaptability to change.
  • Seek continuous improvement to design and processes through consistently challenging the status quo or value engineering as the optimum solution to all aspects ofthe project and development.
  • Possess positive mindset with strong organization and planning skills.
  • Possess good problem-solving skills. Resolve conflicts, delays and unforeseen issues effectively.
  • Understanding of the construction industry, construction methods, contracts, regulations and good industry network.
