Job summary

NEWZONE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Project Manager to lead tender activities and coordinate site teams while ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.

You will run meetings with clients and subcontractors, resolve issues, supervise document control, and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service and timely communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Familiar with AutoCAD; strong communication and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project tenders with all required documents for initiation and approval.
• Coordinate and deploy site foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet specs, quality, budget and deadlines.
• Lead meetings and negotiations with clients and partners to align objectives and resolve issues.
• Investigate site problems and propose practical solutions with management recommendations.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations on site to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain an effective document control system for drawings and project documents with regular reviews.
• Deliver excellent customer service to strengthen client relationships and satisfaction.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by management to support projects and goals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project tenders including all required documentation to support project initiation and approval
• Coordinate and deploy site foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers to complete projects meeting specifications, quality standards, budget, and deadlines
• Lead meetings and negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to align project objectives and resolve issues
• Investigate site problems, develop practical solutions, and provide recommendations to management for timely resolution
• Ensure strict adherence to all legal and regulatory safety requirements on site to maintain a safe working environment
• Establish and maintain an effective document control system for design drawings, project documents, and specifications, conducting regular reviews
• Deliver excellent customer service to maintain strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction
• Perform additional tasks or assignments as directed by management to support project and organizational goals

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Familiarity with AutoCAD software to support project design and documentation
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and people management skills to effectively lead teams and collaborate with stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and manage tight schedules with fast turnaround times
