Job summary

NEWZONE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced project professional to prepare tenders and coordinate site teams, ensuring projects meet specifications, budgets and deadlines.

The role involves leading client negotiations, investigating on-site issues, and maintaining rigorous document control. Required is a Diploma or Degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience, plus strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project tenders, including compiling all required documentation to support project bids
• Coordinate and deploy site foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects meet specifications, quality standards, budgets, and deadlines
• Lead meetings and negotiate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to align project goals and resolve issues
• Investigate site problems, develop practical solutions, and recommend actions to management for timely resolution
• Ensure strict compliance with all applicable safety laws, regulations, and standards on site
• Establish and maintain an effective document control system; review detailed design drawings, project documents, and specifications for accuracy and completeness
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships to support project success

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in any Engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 year of industry-related work experience

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficient interpersonal, communication, and people management skills to facilitate team coordination and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to work efficiently under tight schedules and fast turnaround times
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Familiarity with AutoCAD software is an added advantage
