Job summary

NEWZONE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to assist tendering and oversee project execution in Singapore.

You will coordinate site foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet specifications, quality standards, budgets, and timelines. You will lead client meetings and negotiations, resolve issues, review drawings and documents, and ensure safety and compliance on site. A Diploma or Degree in engineering and at least 5 years in the industry are required; AutoCAD

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in any Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficient interpersonal, communication, and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in tendering and managing projects with required documentation.

• Investigate site problems and propose timely actions to management.
• Ensure safety compliance on site and adherence to policies.

• Perform additional tasks as directed by the Employer

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in tendering and managing projects by preparing required documentation to support project execution
• Manage, coordinate, and deploy site foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers to complete projects according to specifications, quality standards, budget, and timelines
• Lead meetings and negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to align project goals and resolve issues
• Investigate site problems, develop practical solutions, and recommend actions to management for timely resolution
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety laws, regulations, and company safety policies on site
• Establish and maintain an effective document control system, including reviewing detailed design drawings, project documents, and specifications for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain strong client relationships by ensuring customer service satisfaction throughout project delivery
• Perform additional tasks or assignments as directed by the Employer

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in any Engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
• Proficient interpersonal, communication, and people management skills to lead teams and collaborate effectively
• Ability to work efficiently under tight schedules and fast turnaround times
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Familiarity with AutoCAD is an added advantage
