Job summary

MIE-TECH ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and drive end‑to‑end project delivery from initiation to closeout.

You will develop startup and execution plans, manage time, cost, quality and resources, and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to achieve targets while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building/Civil or Electrical Engineering/ Construction Management is required.
• Proven experience as construction project manager.
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management.
• Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, architects and the team to determine project specifications.
• Prepare project startup and execution plan, defining targets for time, cost, quality and resources.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
• Lead a team of technical staff in planning and day‑to‑day operations to achieve targets.
• Liaise with subcontractors to deliver performance targets in time, cost, quality and safety.
• Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities.
• Supervise laborers and guide them on project bases as needed.
• Assist the Project Director in tendering proposals to secure new projects.
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and report issues.
