Job summary

E M Services Private Limited in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare cost estimates, review rates, and compile cost data. You will conduct site studies, verify payments and final accounts, and handle variation orders and tender activities for QS consultancy services.

The ideal candidate holds a Degree or Diploma in Building or Quantity Surveying with 2+ years of QS experience and solid contract knowledge. Strong drawing interpretation and site survey capability are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Building/Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of quantity surveying experience.
• Good knowledge of public sector standard conditions of contract and Workplace Safety & Health Act.
• Good understanding and interpretation of project specifications and drawings.

• Prepare cost estimates.
• Review Schedule of Rates and build up Star Rates.
• Compile six monthly cost information.
• Conduct site study and condition survey.
• Verify progress payments and final accounts.
• Evaluate and verify contractor’s final claim of final payment / VOs.
• Prepare variation orders including taking-off quantities and site measurements.
• Prepare and call term contracts tenders.
• Prepare and secure tenders for QS consultancy services.
