Job summary

LAM CHUAN CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support contract administration, prepare cost breakdowns and manage progress claims for main contracts and subcontract works.

You will carry out quantity take-offs, assist in procurement, and coordinate with consultants, ensuring accurate budgets and timely EOT submissions. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and join a dynamic project team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveyor/ Building/ Civil Engineering & Construction Management Works.
• Basic understanding of construction costing, contracts and procurement processes.
• Familiar with QS tools/software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit progress claims for main contracts and subcontract works.
• Support project team on contract administration, variation orders and extension of time (EOT submissions).
• Carry out quantity take-offs for structural, architectural and external works and prepare cost breakdowns based on drawings.
• Assist in procurement; source quotations and prepare comparison evaluations.
• Liaise with consultants and seek clarifications on contract scope and variation works.
• Prepare project budget for close monitoring with accounts and project team.
• Track material quantity against project budget cost.
• Verify claims from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Settlement of final accounts with client, subcontractors and vendors.
• Handle basic cost related administrative tasks and provide supporting documents.
• Attend Project Site meetings.
