Job summary

tahlia waters hr consulting llp is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveying lead to manage the QS team across multiple projects. You will oversee cost control, budgeting, contract administration, and payment certification, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements while maintaining high standards of quality.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of contracts, and ability to work independently on several projects concurrently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building Management or Facilities Management or equivalent.
• At least 5 years QS experience in construction, maintenance, A&A, or estate upgrading projects.
• Experience in public sector or town council projects is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Strong knowledge of contract administration and construction cost management.
• Familiarity with standard forms of contracts, valuation of variations, and handling contractual disputes.

What Do You Need to Have?

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building Management or Facilities Management or equivalent.
• He/she must possess at least 5 year’s of QS experience in construction, maintenance, A&A, or estate upgrading projects.
• Experience in public sector or town council projects will be an advantage.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Membership with SISV or other relevant professional bodies will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration and construction cost management.
• Familiarity with standard forms of contracts, valuation of variations, and handling contractual disputes.
• Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and QS software.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
