Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced construction/project manager to plan, coordinate, and monitor renovation and building projects from initiation to handover.

You will liaise with architects, engineers, contractors and authorities, prepare drawings and progress reports, and conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety. Strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Building, Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction or project management.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and BIM modeling.
• Able to work independently with strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and approval processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor construction/renovation projects from initiation to handover.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and relevant authorities.
• Prepare project drawings, schedules, and progress reports.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality and safety compliance.

• - Diploma / Degree in Building, Civil Engineering, or Architecture
• - Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in construction or project management
• - Proficient in AutoCAD and BIM modeling
• - Able to work independently with strong leadership and decision-making abilities
• - Working knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and approval processes
• - Familiarity with project scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project)
• - Basic understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration
• - Strong site supervision and coordination skills with contractors, consultants, and authorities
• - Good problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• - Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• - Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements is an advantage
• - Valid Class 3 driving license preferred (for site visits)
