Job summary

QING FENG CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a capable Site Engineer/Coordinator to support the Project Manager. You will interpret construction drawings, ensure conformance with BCA codes, supervise progress, and coordinate with subcontractors and consultants to keep contract works on schedule.

The role requires a recognised degree or diploma in Architecture/Civil/Structural/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related building disciplines, with at least 3 years of relevant

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in relevant engineering or building disciplines with at least 3 years of site-building experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in building construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of interpreting construction drawings and coordinating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and work closely with Project Manager to oversee site matters and provide technical support such as interpret construction drawings
• Ensure all technical drawings conform to the latest BCA codes and regulations
• Supervise site progress and ensure timely delivery of contract works from subcontractors/suppliers
• Manage subcontractors/suppliers to perform their respective scope of works for smooth project execution
• Conduct regular site inspections and enforce in-house regulations
• Attend site meetings to assist the Project Manager with necessary preparatory works and coordination with consultants
• Liaise with relevant government agencies to obtain necessary site permits/clearances
• Any other ad-hoc duties as instructed by superiors

Job Qualifications / Requirements:

• Possess a recognised Degree or Diploma in Architecture / Civil / Structural / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Building Science, Building Management, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management and at least 3 years of relevant working experience of the building construction industry

or

• Degree in local universities in Architecture / Civil / Structural / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Building Science, Building Management, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management
• Strong knowledge in use of Autocad, BIM software such as Revit and microsoft projects
